Terms of Service

By installing or using Klepify ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We tried to keep this short and honest.

1. The service

Klepify is a Chrome browser extension and associated cloud backend that detects job postings on web pages, scores how well they match your background, and generates tailored resume content. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for any particular hiring outcome.

2. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Klepify. You're responsible for keeping your authentication email secure. One person per account; sharing accounts violates these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Submit auto-generated resumes en masse via bots or scripts in a way that constitutes spam.
• Use Klepify to misrepresent your work history (Klepify won't help you — see #4 — but the intent still matters).
• Reverse-engineer the extension or backend to bypass paid features or extract other users' data.
• Use the service to systematically collect or redistribute job postings as a competing product.
• Harass, dox, or otherwise harm Klepify users via features that surface user data.

4. Honest tailoring policy

Klepify is engineered to keep your job titles, company names, and employment dates verbatim from your source resume. This is enforced both in our prompts and via server-side validation. If you discover an output that violates this, please report it to support@klepify.com — it's a bug we want to fix.

5. Subscription & billing

• Free tier: limited usage as documented on the pricing page. No credit card required.
• Pro tier: $9.99 USD per month, billed automatically via Stripe. Renewable monthly.
• Cancellation: cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from the extension's settings). You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: we offer pro-rated refunds within 7 days of the most recent charge if you email us explaining the situation. Beyond that, refunds are at our discretion.
• Price changes: we'll notify Pro subscribers at least 30 days before any price change.

6. Content you submit

You retain ownership of your resume content. By submitting it, you grant Klepify a limited license to process it through our backend and Gemini for the purpose of generating tailored resumes for you. See Privacy for full details.

7. Job posting content

Klepify reads publicly available job posting content from URLs you actively visit. We do not bypass authentication walls, access content behind logins, or violate any site's robots.txt. If you operate a job board and would like Klepify to stop processing your content, email support@klepify.com and we'll respect your request.

8. Disclaimers

Klepify is a tool, not a recruiter. We don't guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific hiring outcome. Match scores are heuristic; ghost-job detection is probabilistic; tailored resumes are starting points you should review before sending. Use your judgment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klepify's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can delete your account from the extension at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — with reasonable notice except in cases of abuse, fraud, or legal compulsion.

11. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced to registered users with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
