How well does your résumé actually match this job?
Paste your résumé and the job description. We tell you how well your experience actually aligns with the role — not just whether you happen to have the right keywords.

What this score actually means
The score reflects how closely your résumé means what the JD asks for — not whether you have the exact keywords. A 0–100 reading: higher = stronger match.
So "developed user-facing applications" matches a JD asking for "customer-facing software" even though they share zero keywords. The kind of match an older keyword scanner would miss entirely.
What it doesn't do
This is a one-shot score for the résumé you pasted as-is. It doesn't rewrite anything, doesn't suggest specific bullets, and doesn't tell you which keywords you're missing — those are jobs for the full Klepify extension.
If you want the rewrite, the missing-keyword list, the before/after delta, and the deterministic fact-lock, install Klepify free — 2 tailored résumés/month, no card required.
Common questions
Why only 3 scores per month?
Honest scoring isn't free for us to run. 3 scores per month per IP is generous enough for a real evaluation without inviting abuse. If you need more, Klepify Pro ($9.99/mo) removes the limit and gives you the actual rewrite — not just the score.
How is this different from Jobscan's match rate?
Jobscan counts JD keywords present in your résumé (lexical overlap). We measure semantic match — closer to how modern ATS systems actually rank candidates. The two scores can differ by 15+ points for the same résumé/JD pair. See the comparison table →
Do you store my résumé?
We don't store the résumé or JD text. We log only the IP hash (one-way SHA-256 with a server-side salt), the score, and the character lengths — used for rate limiting and abuse detection. Hashes older than 30 days get pruned. See our privacy policy for full detail.
Why does my score seem low?
For real-world résumé/JD pairs, scores typically fall in the 35–80 range. Above 80 is rare; below 35 usually means the role is a real stretch or your résumé doesn't yet surface the relevant experience. Klepify's tailor closes the gap when your real experience supports the JD — without inventing the parts it doesn't.
What if the cap blocks me?
The cap is per-IP and resets monthly. Or install Klepify and get unlimited scoring on every tailored résumé, plus the actual rewrite and the before/after delta.
